UNE Foundation, with a majority independent Board of Directors, acts as the corporate trustee of the UNE Foundation Trust which supports the vision and strategy of the University by responsibly investing donated funds, and approving the payout of funds for the advancement of scholarships, research and teaching and learning at the University of New England. UNE Foundation strives to oversee the best financial return possible from funds held in trust, while balancing the immediate and longer term needs and wishes of stakeholders including donors, students and the University. The UNE Foundation looks to establish investment expertise and governance processes that scale with UNE fundraising and allow UNE Foundation to be a trusted participant in the longterm support of education outcomes at the University of New England.
