The purpose of the trust is to reverse the disadvantage inflicted upon Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from colonisation, focusing on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and their families, including; advancing their health, social and emotional wellbeing advancing their economic opportunities and education reclaiming, protecting and preserving their land and waterways, and to advance their languages, special knowledge, culture, customs, traditional law and ways of knowing, being and doing
