We led and contributed to a Documentary on the History of Samba in Australia, creating a repository of stories and footage of the progenitors of samba in Australia and their legacy. We contributed to a PHD research project by partnering with the University of Newcastle to codesign the ethical requirements of the research and coown outputs. We researched emergent WHS issues in the community around cultural safety and cross cultural relations and examined our operations in order to be able to share best practice stories in future years. We led several events, classes and workshops for all ages across Australia, particularly Melbourne, ACT and Adelaide.
