Apart from weekly Sunday services, ESL classes operate on most Saturdays during school term time for adults and a small number of accompanied children to assist in their acquisition of English speaking skills. Some material support or assistance was given to Pacific Islander worshippers who are employed by the local meatworks company, JBS. Other activities include pastoral care letters, email and visitation with numerous elderly or persons with illhealth or other personal concerns. There has been regular dropin morning tea sessions on Tuesdays (Febearly Dec), occasional guest speakers and social events which may involve other community nonreligious groups. Smallgroup Bible studies were also held during term times. Some donations were also given to varying charities and Christian groups in the form of special collections throughout the year.
