Uca - Parramatta Mission

Parramatta Mission was established (1971) with the intention to combat social isolation, homelessness, hunger and economic hardship in the region. We aim to Transform Lives and nurture communities by working in collaborative relationships with Uniting Church congregations, governments, businesses, community groups, educational institutes and individuals. Parramatta Mission provide a range of supports for the local community, including a dropin centre (where visitors can access to support (Services Australia) and other care coordination and practical assistance such as showers, clothes and emergency referrals) and a community kitchen providing breakfast and lunch daily (Monday to Friday) in . At Westmead Parramatta Mission provides accessible accommodation available to those who are requiring hospitalisation or supporting loved ones. It helps make a difference to the lives of others as any revenue received goes into supporting other community programs operated by Parramatta Mission.
