Uca - Orange Parish

Orange Uniting Church continued to facilitate Worship in our Churches, as well as being involved in Missional outreach to the community in the areas of social justice. Our members meet regularly to hear God's word, to encourage each other in their faith, and share in the sacraments. We have several Missional outreach projects, where we provide social justice support and community for those in need. We have Mustard Tree Cafe that provides a sitdown meal each Wednesday. Our Hot Meals Outreach project has continued all year to provide free hot meals each Saturday, to all members of the community who are in need. Our Community Centre, which is a safe place for people to come and seek assistance on a range of levels, even if only for somewhere warm and a chat. Our parents and toddlers group, Wiggling Wombats has continued to provide outreach to parents and their small children, each week. Our Temporary Accommodation Project assists those who are homeless.
