Providing facilities for supporting people (50+ years, retired or semiretired) to continue to learn and develop new skills and interests in a socially congenial environment. This is done through tutorial sessions covering a large range of public interest topics, classes in specific subjects and topics (e.g. science, art, mindfulness meditation), running social games groups, undertaking excursions to places of interest, fine music and film groups, organizing live music sessions.
