Turtles in Trouble Rescue Inc.

Turtles In Trouble Rescue Inc. responded to 264 turtle callouts in 2024, rescuing and transporting 54 sea turtles to specialised veterinary attention for rehabilitation. Data was collected from callouts including 78 deceased turtles and carcasses transported for necropsies when applicable. 26,400klm travelled by volunteers. Released 23 sea turtles back to the wild after successful rehabilitation. Community outreach & education was undertaken through talks, media appearances, beach clean ups & community events.
