TTTG published four issues of News Magazine and made these widely available via the NLA National edeposit scheme. Copies of the News Magazine are provided gratis to all organisations with which we are associated and are freely available to the public via the Trove website six months after the date of publication. We held six member meetings open to members of the public, these featured historical presentations, tool demonstrations and knowledge sharing. TTTG established and maintained association and knowledge sharing with likeminded associations across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. TTTG established links with businesses and individuals often resulting in TTTG receiving support and promotion of its activities and, occasionally, gifts of tools and equipment. TTTG held handson workshops teaching traditional tool maintenance, repair and restoration techniques to individuals and community organizations. TTTG organized, promoted and ran three local swap meets for members which were open to the public. We also organized and ran our annual major hand tool sale. These swaps and sale days generate a significant proportion of TTTG income without which our group would cease to operate. TTTG assisted members and members of the public to dispose of unwanted tools and equipment via nocost campaigns using our members and friend's email database and digital magazine.
