Toukley 50 Plus Leisure & Learning Centre Incorporated

We aim to provide social, fitness, creative and recreational activities for people over 50 to help maintain their physical and mental health, and community and social connections. We achieve this with a workforce of volunteers who manage, coordinate and assist with many regular activities, such as Line Dancing, Table Tennis, Yoga, Bingo, Indoor Bowls, Exercises and Zumba, Craft and Art, Cards, and computer classes. We also hold regular social events such as the Melbourne Cup luncheon, the Biggest Morning Tea, the Police Concert Band performance, lunches with entertainment and an annual Fair or Information Day. Our Canteen provides tasty and nutritious food to eat in the Dining Room at our comfortable facilities in Toukley. We have 3 buses to provide transportation to the Centre and also to fun outings and trips away, all coordinated by our Tours group. Our Adult Daycare group brings older, more vulnerable people together once a week for a morning of fun activities and lunch. This helps to reduce their social isolation in a very caring community within our Centre Run by volunteers. We are a happy communitybased facility.
