Now in our 50th year, Tom Bass Sculpture Studio School continues to develop a range of innovative and challenging programs which fulfil our core values of: Upholding the traditions of sculpture: through our program of term workshops and special workshops taught by dedicated sculpture teachers and guest artists. Our classes cater for students 18 years and over and for all skill levels the beginner to the advanced. https://www.tbsss.org.au/ The promotion of public sculpture: we do this through our commissions work for public and private clients executed by our students and emerging sculptors. https://www.tombassstudiocommissions.org.au/. We also promote and organise exhibitions by our students and emerging sculptors through our small gallery 'Clara Street Gallery': http://www.clarastreetgallery.com/ We also conduct public lectures on sculpture, as well as Tom Bass AM and the influence he had on Australian sculpture and art. Be a viable and vital part of the community: we achieve this through our events and workshops that are open to the general public, as well as through our important scholarship program which helps support youth, financially disadvantaged people, and artists with disabilities through 50% and 100% scholarships.
