Thredbo Ski Patrol Association Inc

The purposes of the Association are: (a) to serve the skiing public without charge in the rescue and first aid treatment of injured skiers. (b) to promote safety and accident prevention in the sport of skiing. (c) to provide uniformly trained ski patrollers who meet the standards set by the Association. (d) to facilitate the provision of trained ski patrollers by providing training facilities and necessary amenities to maximize the level of skill and time spent performing ski patrolling. (e) to effect such purposes, including fund raising activities, as may be necessary to further these objects and which are generally in the interests of snow skiing and ski safety. (f) to provide collective representation to Government, the business community and other organisations in respect of rescue and first aid treatment of injured skiers and other snowfield visitors and in respect of ski patrolling and ski patrollers.
