We provide education, support, practical facilities and networking opportunities to medical students and prospective medical students to encourage interest in the various surgical specialties and compliment university learning. We have a strong focus on encouraging students from backgrounds historically disadvantaged in the career of surgery to take part for example through our Women in Surgery symposium.
