About The Trustee For Peter Cullen Water And Environment Trust
Since 2010 the Peter Cullen Water and Environment Trust has supported community leaders and professionals to build their leadership capabilities so they can more effectively manage Australia s water and natural resources by influencing policy to achieve improvements in rural and urban water management in Australia. In 2024 the Trust ran two leadership programs training 30 outstanding individuals already working at a senior level in Australia's water and environment sectors. Participants learned to think beyond their current boundaries and develop insights into the science, policy and political interface in order to enhance their capability to drive meaningful change. Graduates of our Leadership Programs become Fellows of the Peter Cullen Trust. The PCT Fellows Network connects over 300 committed, active and inspiring individuals making a difference to how our natural resources are managed for future generations. The Trust actively supports the Fellows Network through symposia such as #wateREvolution, the Leaders Lunch Series, our mentoring program, biannual professional development days and reconnection events as well as our quarterly newsletter, Bridging. Our bespoke program partnering with the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) to develop young leaders in the water sector ran for a sixth successive year in 2024, training another six emerging leaders.
