The Foundation leverages the organizational capacity of Rotary and its members to support The Salvation Army (TSA) services providing safety and empowerment to women and children escaping family and domestic violence (FDV) and raise awareness in our communities. In 2024 the Foundation has received cash and in kind donations utilized to provide new household appliances, bed linen and Christmas gifts to survivors of FDV. Volunteered services have improved the facilities and functionality of the services provided by TSA. The Foundation has increased awareness of FDV by attending a community festival where it manned a booth, held a kid's quiz and facilitated a fashion show promoting the TSA services as well as promoting and encouraging similar activities within Rotary Clubs.
