About The Trustee For Museum Of Brisbane Trust
Museum of Brisbane (MoB) celebrates and interprets Brisbane's dynamic art and social history through exhibitions, education programs and public engagement activities. Through art and ideas, creativity and conversations, we re a welcoming place for all, woven into the fabric of Brisbane and proudly shared with the world. Housed in Brisbane City Hall, MoB welcomes over 400,000 visitors each year from across Queensland as well as visitors from interstate and overseas. Students from across SouthEast Queensland participate each year in curriculumaligned learning programs including through the Learn Assist program supported through philanthropic donations. The Museum s exhibitions and programs, including its Artist in Residence program, provide local Queensland artists with a significant platform to create and present new work. The Museum cares for two significant collections: City of Brisbane Collection and Museum of Brisbane including the Easton Pearson Archive, the largest textile collection from an Australian fashion house held in Australia.
