The objective of the Foundation is to be philanthropic in character and a vehicle for private philanthropy, and to that end to maximize returns on investments to provide money, property or benefits to a fund, authority or institution, gifts to which are deductible under Item 1 of the table in section 3015 of the Income Tax Assessment Act. The charity earned investment income and made grants to a number of DGR's after the Trustee researched a number of different funds and their activites.
