James Goold Trust's objective is to support the Good Shepherd mission via its distribution of financial and investment returns for Good Shepherd's charitable programs. The Good Shepherd mission is about ensuring the emotional, economic and physical safety of women and their families. Our activities to achieve this goal are: Resourcing Good Shepherd Agencies who deliver care and support disadvantaged young people and their families in the areas of family violence, mental health, social isolation, financial disadvantage and poverty. Providing aged care and independent living support for women who are former Good Shepherd residents. Many of these women have intellectual and physical disabilities and come from disadvantaged backgrounds. A number have formerly been in institutional care.
