During the reporting period the charity supported the following: 1. The first application was received from a Mother who has breast cancer and is facing a prognosis of 6 12 months. She is 56 years old and is a divorced mother with 4 children ranging from 1327 years old. The oldest two children have disabilities. She has no savings due to costofliving expenses and resides in a private rental. She sought $750 to have family portraits taken while she is still well enough, so her family has portraits to fondly reflect on after her passing. Although the Board approved the request in September 2023 the family only confirmed in December 2025 that the sitting would be conducted on 12 January 2025. 2. The second application was received from an 18 years old former member of the Gawler and Districts Interact Club. Both he and his family had financial difficulties and did not have enough money to pay for the test for his driver s licence. He was cycling 10 kms each way to work part time but the income from his efforts was not enough for him to cover the $396 needed to complete his assessment for a driver s licence. The Foundation approved this application in February 2024 and the 18 year old successfully gained his licence in March 2024.
