Continued to invest the funds of the Scholarship to maintain sufficient value for it to provide for future scholarships to post graduate students for research of an original nature leading to the advancement of knowledge in the practice of public relations and communication. The Scholarship is now administered through the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIS) and available to students at PRIAaccredited universities in Australia. 2 existing 3year scholarships, comprising an annual stipend and research activity allowance, were finalised in 2021. A Scholarship has not been awarded since then, despite them being advertised yearly to post graduate students The Scholarship has continued to advertise for applicants but the ongoing impact of Covid on post graduate student numbers has resulted in no suitable applicants being identified. The Scholarship was advertised again in the 2024 financial year. Only two applications were received and both of those were deemed not to be acceptable.
