The Trustee For Arid Recovery Trust

Arid Recovery restores arid zone ecosystems by excluding feral predators and rabbits from a 123 square km reserve and reintroducing locally extinct species, enabling ecosystem recovery and running research and education programs. Threatened species protected include greater bilbies, burrowing bettongs, Shark Bay bandicoots, western quolls and kowaris. Using the reserve as a landscapescale experiment, Arid Recovery is a centre for collaborative research and is also active in environmental education activities.
