The Stray Cats Project Incorporated

Our work continues. During the reporting period we desexed 82 stray cats. This equates to 1.6 cats a week or approx one cat every five days. We found a home for most of them but those that were unsuitable were returned to their colony where they continue to be fed and monitored. We cover eleven colonies in the Newcastle area and feed around 130 cats a day including those in foster care awaiting a home. As always we are grateful to our volunteers and generous donors who allow us to continue the work.
