About The Ramsay Centre for Western Civilisation
Our objective, as set out in our Constitution, is to advance education by promoting studies and discussion associated with the establishment and development of western civilisation, including through establishing and administering scholarship funds and educational courses in collaboration and partnership with universities and other educational providers. We aim to achieve this objective by: a. University Partnerships: Funding the creation and teaching of Western Civilisation undergraduate and postgraduate degree pathways in collaboration with three Australian universities, University of Wollongong, University of Queensland and Australian Catholic University. In addition, a suite of Ramsay scholarships is available for Australian students to complete the Western Civilisation programs as part of a single or double degree; b. Postgraduate Scholarships: Endowing a number of national Ramsay Postgraduate Scholarships, open to Australian graduates from a range of academic disciplines, for study at prestigious overseas universities; and c. Public Outreach Program and Other Activities: Promoting a wider appreciation of western civilisation through a public lecture series of distinguished visiting speakers, podcasts and other events.
