In 2024, the Perth Centre for Photography continued to advance its mission of fostering excellence and accessibility in photographic arts by delivering a dynamic and inclusive program. We operated a public photographic art gallery that presented a free, year round exhibition schedule, showcasing the work of both emerging and established artists. Our Learning Program supported artistic development through workshops and engagement opportunities tailored for the broader community as well as professional practitioners. A significant focus of the year was a dedicated project aimed at supporting regional and remote First Nations artists, providing resources and mentorship to cultivate their creative photography practice and amplify their voices through visual storytelling.
