The aim of The Next Economy is to create resilient regional economies that are climate safe, regenerative and socially just. We do this by: 1. Supporting local government and other regional leaders to develop plans and take steps to diversify their economies. 2. Working with decision makers across all levels of government, industry and civil society (environment, union and community organisations) to develop strategies and policies to manage change. 3. Connecting investors and philanthropists to regional initiatives. 4. Inspiring the public to take action through public education and media engagement.
