The New South Wales Council For Intellectual Disability

CID undertakes systemic advocacy which is led by and includes people with intellectual disability. We advocate on the issues that are important to people with intellectual disability including accessibility, health, decision making, jobs and transport CID undertake projects to build the skills, ability and knowledge of people with intellectual disability and ensure they are included in their communities. We promote the human rights of people with intellectual disability and work to ensure they are involved in making decisions about their lives.
