*We provided performance opportunities for young musicians through District Centre concerts. In 2024 the number of participants has increased by 50% compared to 2023. In addition the range of instruments being played was widened to include guitars, recorders and harmonicas along with the more traditional ones. * The number of competitors in the annual Awards reflected the above increase in participant numbers and range of instruments played *Through private auditions, the Junior Awards gave less experienced students an opportunity to prepare for examinations in a sympathetic environment
