We raise donations from members to help the temple to enable monks to provide religious services to the Buddhist community in Melbourne, Victoria. The purpose of the association are: (a) To introduce a philosophy of life based on the teachings of Buddha Dharma (b) To encourage and promote the study, practice and realisation of Buddha Dharma (c) To promote activities associated with Buddhism and the Buddhist culture in Australia (d) To promote and maintain direct or auxiliary activities for the benefit of the community through educational, social ,charitable, philanthropic, benevolent and humanitarian work (e) To support, provide and or to participate in the activities of provider of community services such as Aged Care (Home and Residential Facility) service, information and emergency services, food distribution to those who need, temporary shelters for people, support for seniors and support for legitimate local workers and workers from overseas.
