About The Mary G Foundation
The Mary G Foundation is an indigenous charitable organisation that is established to promote the relief of poverty and hardship of Aboriginal people in WA. Its activities are focused on education, health and income management for at risk indigenous clients. In regards to education we promote school attendance by incentives to remaining at school and offer special programs to assist indigenous children. As for health, we work with health professionals to raise awareness of the programs available to them to address wider issues affecting indigenous health as well as liaising with government agencies to improve service delivery. Lastly, we use social media to raise awareness of the services available to indigenous people by providing a studio to provide recording outlet for gifted indigenous musicians and artists. The Mary G foundation will be raising funds for: community groups for education projects individual families that apply and have need for educational resources community health projects community infrastructures projects that lead to an improvement in employment, health and skill outcomes educational programs promoting budgeting and improved income management in community
