During the period, the principal activities of the Fund during the course of the year remain unchanged and were to raise funds and: organise the Lysicrates Competition of play writing for adults; and organise the MartinLysicrates Competition for play writing for children, in addition to the Martin childrens' walk; create and distribute a film of the MartinLysicrates Competition to schools; prepare a Resource Kit for teachers to accompany the film; create and place two lifesize statues of the boy James Martin, the builder of the Lysicrates Monument replica in Sydney; and organise the annual Martin Oration .
