About The Link Centre Limited
A large part of 2024 was spent raising awareness of the plight of the Pavilion School Epping Campus with the Victorian Education Department. This was initiated with correspondence with the Victorian Minister for Education, the Hon Ben Carroll. He referred the matter in the first instance to the Victorian School Building Authority who in turn referred it to Dr Anastacia Gabriel of the North Western Region. Parents became involved as the space became untenable for 80 disengaged young people. Pavilion had to reduce numbers to 60 for the 2025 year because of the lack of space. There was no resolution by the end of the 2024 calendar year. It was determined that no Link Centre funds would be expended on Pavilion School until the accommodation was resolved with the education department, as we had indicated to them that we would jointly financially support any new premises.
