The Len Evans FoundationRegistered

The purpose of The Len Evans Foundation is to collect funds which it will forward to a deductible gift recipient (DGR). It is the charitable arm of The Len Evans Tutorial Inc. It aims to educate and encourage young people within the industry to become more knowledgeable about wine and the wine industry, and to strengthen the credibility of the Australian Wine Show judging system. At present, the DGR is the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RASF). The funds are used to further viticulture studies and wine education via scholarships administered by the RASF. As an example, the charity may award a grant for a scholarship to help undertake the Advanced Wine Assessment Course (AWAC), run by the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) in Adelaide.
