The Kickstart Project IncRegistered

Our purpose is to provide students in Kenya with a brighter future through education, health and sustainable solutions. We achieve this by selecting particularly bright and disadvantaged students for full secondary sponsorship at good quality boarding schools. We have minimum grade expectations that the students must achieve in order to remain in the sponsorship program this avoids the handout mentality. We provide comprehensive support and mentoring throughout the sponsorship to ensure students are coping with the demands of secondary school, being away from their families and making the most of the opportunity that they have been given. We have committed volunteers on the ground in Kenya to stay in regular contact with the sponsored students and their families, and to ensure that everything is running smoothly.
