The Historical and Cultural Society of Yoruba Australia Limited

We conducted activities that promoted Yoruba language and culture in Australia. We ran classes online weekly (during the Queensland school term) to make the language classes more accessible. The activity benefits persons with Yoruba Heritage as it provides the opportunity to maintain the connection with their heritage and culture. It also benefits the Australian community as a whole because it is inclusive and provides direct access and opportunity to connect with and learn about the Yoruba language and culture. We also support the mental wellbeing of students.
