The Heraldry & Genealogy Society of Canberra Inc

The Heraldry & Genealogy Society of Canberra Inc maintains a specialist Resource Library and Resource Centre with a genealogy bookshop for the study, research and education of family history and genealogy. This enables members and visitors to conduct their own research and receive guidance using the facilities, which include Books, CDROM's, microfiche, microfilm, and connections to the Internet. We also conduct Education Courses, seminars, lectures, and workshops on a wide range of topics, to assist members in learning more about their areas of interest. We utilise the expertise of local, interstate, and international speakers. Our Special Interest Groups and Software User Groups have members who specialise in their areas of interest, assist each other, and are there to help other members in overcoming difficulties that arise in research.
