We provided weekly to monthly social connection opportunities to adults aged 18yrs to 90+yrs at Chatty Tables at over 230 community and hospitality venues across Australia ranging from neighbourhood houses, community centres, libraries, churches, recreation centres, cafes, clubs, art galleries to name a few. Chatty participant numbers ranged from 1 person to 30+ people at venues. We also provided Chatty Volunteers to host Chatty Tables if requested by the venue these volunteers welcomed participants and ensured conversations were fun, interesting and that everyone attending felt welcome. These activities enable persons who were experiencing loneliness and/or social isolation to reconnect with their local community and meet new people they might choose to further connect with at another Chatty event or any other social activity they might enjoy with a new friend's company.
