The British Council is the UK s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. We create friendly knowledge and understanding between the people of the UK and other countries. In Australia we work in creative industries through our projects in cultural equity, diversity and inclusion, disability arts, climate and the arts and best practice exchange (Culture Responds program). We support mobility to showcase the diverse cultures and perspectives of both counties to the general public and facilitate new collaboration opportunities (Culture Connects program). We also work to connect policy makers and leaders in higher education (Going Global program), support alumni networks and deliver UK exams. We partner with private and public sector organisations to develop exchange and sharing of knowledge.
