The Basin Music Festival Association Incorporated

The Basin Music Festival committee run a threeday community based music festival. Our aim is to provide a cultural and social focus for communal artistic expression and participation while promoting the talents of local musicians principally within the City of Knox, the Mount Dandenong foothills and surrounding neighbourhoods. Our programs provide the community with a musical experience that embraces creativity, diversity, exploration and collaboration with the intention of improving life balance, health and wellbeing. The festival allows isolated individuals and groups to become part of their community and with the attendance of performers and audience members running into thousands over the three days, gives a much needed boost to the local community.
