Professional learning support and networking for music teachers continues to be offered regularly by ASME state chapters, and a new series of national webinars has been well received by members. The September 2025 ASME National Conference in Brisbane has the theme 'Music Ahead'. The conference program includes excellent keynote speakers, along with a wide range of presenters exploring diverse topics relevant to best music education practices in various settings, including preschool through to tertiary and in the general community. The national conference offers a rich professional learning experience for educators who are likely to be further inspired to advocate for music education in their own work and community environments.
