The Armenian Church Of Australia In Victoria

Throughout 2024, Church services were held every Sunday and on major feast days of the Armenian Apostolic Church, supporting the spiritual needs of both the Armenian and broader Australian communities. Sacraments such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals were conducted at St. Mary s Armenian Apostolic Church for members of the congregation. Youth information sessions and forums on religious topics were organised to educate young people about their faith and provide a platform for open discussion. A youth camp was also held during the year, offering participants a chance to strengthen their spiritual connection, build friendships, and engage in faithbased activities in a supportive environment. Regular Bible study sessions were held to help members interpret and understand the teachings of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The Armenian Aginian School operated each Saturday during the school year, offering classes in Armenian language, literature, history, music, and dance to primary and secondary students in the Melbourne Armenian community. The Armenian Church Ladies Guild supported the parish by catering to the needs of churchgoers and assisting with fundraising efforts. The Church Choir took part in liturgies and community events, while the Social Support Group focused on the wellbeing of senior members of the community by hosting regular social gatherings.
