The Foundation is a nonprofit organisation, the purpose of which is to provide direct relief for the child victims of violent crime and sudden family loss who are in need of relief from poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, disability, destitution or helplessness. The Foundation provides relief without discrimination. In 2024, the Foundation achieved its purpose in the following ways: (a) extending programs that provide direct relief to children in need and assess their needs; eg) Children Ahead, Cubby House, Dolly's Dream Support Line and Trauma Consulting Service that continued to be delivered. (b) developing and implementing shortterm and longterm strategies delivering relief to the children; eg) Buddy Bags program and Dolly's Dream mental health first aid training (short term) and eSmart programs and products (long term). (c) developing activities to generate funds to implement the main purposes.
