Thancoupie's Bursary Fund Ltd

Each year at Cairns Indigenous Art Fair, we hold a silent auction to raise funds for the Bursary. The Bursary (value approx $5,000) is awarded to an emerging artist from Cape York to be mentored by an established artist to progress their art practice. This year the Bursary Winner was Uncle Vincent Babia, who will work with Master Printmaker, Theo Tremblay, to produce a series of works for an exhibition.
