The Trust was established for public charitable purposes and in particular for the purpose of general public education and training in Victoria and for the promotion of the development, marketing, sale and delivery by telematic means of education and training courses and of the use of new information to technologies for distance learning outside existing education and training institutions within Victoria. It does this by providing annual grants to aligned organisations.
