Team AVCon Incorporated directed its efforts towards AVCon: Adelaide's Anime and Video Games Festival, our flagship festival, which celebrates and promotes Japanese animation, video gaming, tabletop gaming, esports, game development, art, technology, and cosplay. In 2024, it was attended by over 14,000 people. It included 33 exhibitors, 110 artists, and 35 independent game developers, all of whom promoted local, interstate, and international artists and creators. A team of over 40 yearround volunteers and 200 ontheday volunteers helped deliver the event. A twoandahalfday program of events run by fans for fans, engaged members of the public to foster local and interstate talent in fields such as game development, digital productions, writing, art and design, sewing and construction and other creative outlets such as streaming and podcasting.
