Talent Beyond Boundaries makes it possible for refugees and displaced people to migrate for work with dignity and purpose. We are transforming skilled migration systems for refugees by removing barriers, creating new opportunities, and rewriting the story of displacement. In 2024, we worked with the Department of Home Affairs to successfully implement the Skilled Refugee Labor Agreement Pilot. We conducted outreach to employers, industry bodies, state and territory governments and stakeholders, and secured job offers for skilled refugees across a diversity of industries and roles, including particular success in regional Australia. We welcomed our largest cohort of refugees to date to Australia who are now working and settling in local communities. We advocated to transition the Pilot to a permanent refugee labor mobility program. In 2024, the Pilot has shown that this innovative solution can meet Australia s labour force needs, fill skills gaps and drive economic growth, whilst delivering a profound humanitarian benefit to refugees and displaced people.
