Is registered under the Australia Maritime National Museum as a historical Vessel. MFV TACOMA contains within its story the maritime heritage of two Australian ports, Port Lincoln SA and Port Fairy Vic. The Tacoma undertakes tuna fishing trips to re enact the early days of the tuna industry. In our onboard tours we have a strong focus on the marine environment, its management and the interaction of the various user groups to our marine resources. The tours also highlight the human story of the three Haldane brothers and the tragic loss of fishermen at sea. the migrations story is also told, from early days to the dominance of the Croatian fishermen post WW11
