SydneyMusic.net has been providing Sydney with a completely free resource that gets more people out to live music events via a simple, nononsense gig guide with zero commercial consideration. Our mission is to connect Sydney with its scene. Our program endorses the value of community live music and encourages participation within our local scene. We have a monthly readership of over 21,000 unique browsers (UBs) and 10,750 Instagram followers (+343% YoY with no paid acquisition). Having conducted a survey in February, with 194 respondents, we have been able to develop a clear picture of the current landscape of live music engagement in Sydney. 79% of surveyed users read the guide at least once a week; 75.4% say they see more live music because of the SydneyMusic.net gig guide.
