Surf Life Saving Tasmania Inc

SLST and its affiliates delivered on our missions through volunteers from our surf life saving clubs, volunteer marine rescue units and a small team of paid staff who help provide safer aquatic environments for the community to enjoy in a number of ways: Volunteer patrols and emergency callouts; Lifesaving services for councils, schools, community events; Community education and water safety awareness events to over 10,000 Tasmanians; Supporting community events with water safety and risk management. In 202324 our members performed 87 rescues, 1,125 preventative actions, treated 128 first aid cases, responded to 40 activations supporting emergency services and volunteered over 22,661 recorded patrol hours.
