Sunburnt Arts LTD

Sunburnt Arts' mission is to curate and celebrate cultural expressions in alignment with the Ten Principles of Burning Man, lifting the human spirit and addressing social issues as a means to inspiring a sense of culture, community and cultural engagement. The organisation seeks to do this for the benefit of participants and the wider community. Our main means of achieving our mission is through governance of the participatory community arts festival Burning Seed , which our members have been contributing to for up to 15 years since its inception in 2010. Our most significant achievement this year is the historic completion of the restructure of Burning Seed's governance from a for profit Pty Ltd entity Red Earth City Pty Ltd to a community elected and led series of not for profit entities Sunburnt Arts our overarching governance body and our operating entity Sunburnt Events which will run the Burning Seed event. This is a massive development for our many thousands of community members who have contributed sweat equity and input into their vision for our entity and governance over many years.
