Sumatran Sun Bear Team Limited

Cared for and provided veterinary surgery and care for wild Sun Bear caught in snare. Successfully released this Sun Bear caught in a snare back into the wild. We provided medical aid and funds to treat the bear. *Transferred 2 Sun Bears from government facility needed better enclosures and care to SSBT facility. *Raised funds to correct building problems on enclosures. *Continuous funds and support to care for the 5 bears in SSBT care. *Working with local people in Indonesia and by working with our partners we have been able to employ staff to care for the rescued bears. * We have provided local schools with educational materials with information about the wildlife within their locality.
